Abstract:
To provide a printer which can cut and use a printing medium, and of which down-sizing is realized.SOLUTION: A printer (1) comprises: a sheet feed tray (21) for storing sheets (P); an image recording part (3) for recording an image on the sheet (P); a cutting part (100) for cutting the sheet (P); a platen (4) which supports the sheet (P) transported along a first direction (D1); a back face tray (22) which is located on an upstream side of the image recording part (3) in the first direction (D1), and stores a second sheet (P2) cut by the cutting part (100); a first transport path (R1) for transporting the sheet (P) stored in the sheet feed tray (21) to the platen (4); and a second transport path (R2) for transporting the second sheet (P2) to the back face tray (22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
