Abstract:
To set an optimal printed medium transport path for each unit in each of a case where a first unit is attached to a printer and a case where a second unit different from the first unit is attached to the printer.SOLUTION: A first unit which rotatably supports a first platen roller and a second unit which rotatably supports a second platen roller different from the first platen roller are selectively attached to a printer. The printer includes: a cover guide part 25a which guides the printed medium transported by the second platen roller when the second unit is attached to the printer; and a discharge port 15 which discharges the printed medium guided by the cover guide part 25a to one side in a first direction. A partition wall part 42, which is provided overlapping with the cover guide part 25a so as to cover the cover guide part 25a when the first unit is attached to an opening/closing cover, is provided at the first unit so as to partition the first platen roller side from the discharge port side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
