Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of easily and rapidly removing a ribbon cassette by one hand.
SOLUTION: A pair of oblique parts 64, 65 are provided as moving means for smoothly removing a ribbon cassette at both sidewalls of a ribbon frame 6 for holding the cassette. The parts 64, 65 are integrally formed by folding both the sidewalls of the frame 6. Oblique surfaces 64a, 64b extended in a flared state toward downward via the frame 6 are formed at the parts 64, 65. The parts 64, 65 are folded perpendicularly to the sidewall of the frame 6, and formed laterally symmetrically. The one side of the cassette is lifted to operate a branch force from the parts 64, 65 in the releasing direction, and hence the cassette can be smoothly removed.
