Title:
PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3889503
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate occurrence of a mark in connection with a decrease in a quality of a printed matter due to a gripper mark or the like by effectively releasing a printing sheet from a nip forming member of an impression cylinder or the like without attaching a wave pattern due to an air blowing to a print image and without generating a curling.
SOLUTION: A plurality of pattern formed electrodes 9 are provided at an interval in a circumferential direction on a surface of an impression cylinder 6 as a nip forming member. When a voltage is applied to the electrodes 9, a printing sheet is attracted to the surface of the cylinder 6 by an electrostatic force. Only the electrodes 9 approached to a guide plate 10 are sequentially interrupted at a voltage supply at a delivery side of the cylinder 6. Thus, the electrostatic force is removed or weakened only at the delivery side to easily release a leading end of the sheet.
