Abstract:
To provide a printer which can properly and easily adjust pressing force of a thermal head with respect to a width direction of a printing medium.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a plurality of pressing force adjustment units having pressing parts for pressing a printing head against a platen roller; and width direction adjustment means which can adjust a movement position of the pressing parts in a printing medium width direction. The width direction adjustment means includes a shaft which pivotally supports the pressing parts, and a fixing part which fixes the pressing parts moving in the printing medium width direction along the shaft to the shaft in the printing medium width direction. Consequently, the pressing parts capable of adjusting pressing force can be moved in the width direction of the printing medium and can be adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
