PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer printer capable of controlling timing of adjusting a peel angle.SOLUTION: A roller driving section 30 has a function to adjust a peel angle α by moving a platen roller 17. A control section has a function to read out ink ribbon information from an IC tag provided in an ink ribbon supply body.
