Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the prevention of page omission and duplicate printing in the case of a jam being generated in a printer.
CONSTITUTION: A printer is provided with a control part 2, a data receiving memory 3, a printing mechanism part 4 and jam mark generating mechanism 5. When a jam is generated, the control part 2 reads jam mark data from the jam mark generating mechanism 5 and supplies it to the printing mechanism part 4 to perform printing so as to prevent page omission and duplicate printing.
