In addition to superimposition of a video output onto a monitor or the like by a superimposing section 19, superimposition of an image to be printed is made by a print control section 23. The print control section 23 allocates different number of dots per one pixel to a video input image, a graphic image and characters or the like on the same print sheet respectively. Thus, different number of dots is allocated to one pixel of the video input image, the graphic image and the characters or the like. For example, lots of dots are allocated to the pixel of the video input image part to attain multi- gradation expression and small number of dots are allocated to the graphic image part because of less number of sets of gradation to attain high definition expression.
