Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the mis-setting of paper, by detection and comparison of the mark position printed on paper in advance with the mark printed with the program designating the format of paper.
CONSTITUTION: 2A is the mark printed on paper in advance and the position toward X axis is fixed and the position toward Y axis depends on the format of paper. 2 is the mark printed by the line printer in designated format by program, the position toward X axis is fixed and the position toward Y axis depends on the format. At detection, by checking whether two mark detectors 4 and 5 detect two marks left and right within the specified time or not, the setting of paper having correct format can be known.
