To control the print of a plurality of printers which does not have any USB (universal serial bus) function as USB printers from a host computer under simple system configurations and host computer side simple control even when all the printers in this printer system are not provided with the USB function.

In this printer system 1, one printer 2a is provided with an USBI/F 5, and connected to a host PC 6, and each printer 2 is also connected. An USB address/printer address conversion table of the USBI/F 5 registers addresses on the USB system and real addresses by making them correspond to each other for the printers other than the printer 2a. When the address on the USB system is designated, and a printer request is issued from the host PC 6 to the printer 2, the USBI/F 5 converts it into the real address by referring to the USB address/printer address conversion table, and makes the printer 2 indicated by the address execute the print request.
