Abstract:
To reduce the amount of work that is performed by a user while utilizing a printing apparatus provided with a scanner for reading images.
The printing apparatus of this invention has a head driver for driving a head for ejecting ink, a scanner for reading an image formed on a medium, and a controller for controlling the head driver so as to form a correction pattern on the medium, and causing the scanner to read the correction pattern that has been formed on the medium, and correcting driving of the head performed by the head driver based on the read result of the correction pattern.
