To provide a printing apparatus capable of easily setting or amending a set condition by utilizing a two-dimensional bar code and a cellular phone with a camera, and a condition setting method.
The condition setting method comprises the steps of printing the two-dimensional bar code (10) corresponding to the set condition from the printing apparatus (100), taking in the two-dimensional bar code by an image picking-up part (236), displaying the set condition analyzed from the two-dimensional bar code on a displaying part (216), transmitting the amended set condition from a transmitting part (230) by utilizing an inputting part (218), and setting the printing apparatus in accordance with the amended set condition received by a receiving part (130). The printing apparatus using such the setting method as this is also disclosed.
