PURPOSE: To speed up the output processing of a printer by providing a text process, an overlay output processor, a graph output processor and an image output processor on a print output side and performing the output processing in parallel.

CONSTITUTION: The text output processor 13 stores text data in a page buffer 17, the overlay output processor 14 stores overlay data in a page buffer 18, and those data are outputted to a printing output control part 6. Further, graphic data obtained by the graph output processor 19 and image data obtained by the image output processor 20 are developed and outputted to the printing output control part 6. Those are all processed by the individual processors and the processing is performed without any relation. Consequently, the processing is speeded up.
