To provide a printing density managing apparatus for a perfecting press in which the color correcting work at the time of double-side printing is more efficiently performed as compared with that of a prior art.

The printing density managing apparatus for the perfecting press comprises: a display means for displaying the density difference between the density value of a printed matter and a density value to be a target at each inking unit; a correcting object input means for arbitrarily selecting the inking unit to be the object of color correcting of the density value of each inking unit displayed on the display means; and an ink amount control means for controlling the ink amount of the inking unit selected by the input means based on the density difference corresponding to the inking unit. The display means is constituted to display the density difference of the front surfaces and the density difference of the rear surfaces. The correcting object input means is constituted so as to select the inking unit of the front surface and the inking unit of the rear surface.
