Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable multi-color printing onto a container having a constructed part by a method wherein stamping rolls are arranged in a rotating direction from upstream in order of the radial length at the region to be printed of the container having a circular crosssection.
CONSTITUTION: At printing, a container 1 is conveyed with a timing screw 35 and, at the same time, a rotary drum 10 is rotated. With an urged first stamping roll 31, the inks on a shoulder part stamping part and on a cylinder part stamping part are transferred to a shoulder part-fixed transferring surface part and to a cylinder part-fixed transferring surface part. At this case, a movable transferring surface part 20 is pressed by the roll 31 so as to be pushed in the interior of an annular groove of the transferring drum 10 in order to be flush with the shoulder part-fixed transferring surface part and the cylinder part-fixed transferring surface part. Next, after the ink on an urged second stamping part is transferred to a transferring piece, which is projected beyond the transferring drum 10 with a spring 25, the ink on the transferring drum is transferred to the shoulder part and the cylinder part of the container, which is moved so as to rotate on its axis by a guide 34.
