Abstract:
To provide a printer which includes a feed roller for conveying a print medium and a pinch roller biased toward the feed roller, and can prevent deterioration of image quality caused by a roller mark of the pinch roller.SOLUTION: A printer includes a feed roller which conveys a print medium 2, a roller drive mechanism which drives the feed roller, a plurality of pinch rollers 15 which are biased toward the feed roller and pinch the print medium 2 with the feed roller, a roller moving mechanism which moves the pinch rollers 15, and a control part which drives and controls the roller moving mechanism. The control part controls the roller moving mechanism and moves the pinch rollers 15 in response to images P1-P3 to be printed on the print medium 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
