Abstract:

To provide a printing device and a printing control method for the printing device capable of preventing printing color from differing from a target hue greatly by transmitting characteristic identification information of a member to be printed of a cartridge stored in the printing device to an external device with a simple method.

The printing device includes: a loading part for loading a cartridge having a member to be printed and an information member including characteristic identification information of the member to be printed; and a window part through which at least the information member of the cartridge loaded in the loading part can be visually observed from outside.
