Abstract:
To grasp the cause of abnormality of printed identification information.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises an inspection unit, a generation unit, and a determination unit. The inspection unit inspects a scan image of a region in which a first identification image is printed in a sheet. The generation unit conveys the sheet without printing, scans a not-printed region, and thereby generates a blank image. The determination unit determines whether at least one second identification image is included in the blank image generated by the generation unit when the number of identification images detected by the inspection unit exceeds the number of identification images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
