Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing in a more proper method in a case where a medium having a periodic structure on a printing object surface such as cloth is used.SOLUTION: A printing device 12 which performs printing in an ink jet method to a medium includes: an ink jet head 102; and an ink supply part 104 which supplies previously-toned ink being ink toned in advance to the ink jet head. When a region having a prescribed area or more in at least a medium is painted over with the color of the previously-toned ink, the ink jet head 102 discharges the ink droplets to a painted-over region being a region to be painted over with the color of the previously-toned ink so that a gap is not generated between the dots of ink formed on the medium by the ink droplets landed on the medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
