To print a necessary number of sheets of high quality printed matters with simple operation by a method wherein the printed matter, in which common information, such as a direct mail, commercial talking data for individual customers and the like, and individual information are to be printed, is produced in a lump by one set of printing device so as to obtain the printing quality of an offset level.
A processing unit 1 processes a printing board 3 based on a fixed data 4 while the processed printing board 3 is sent into a fixed data printing unit 2 and is set by winding the same around a plate cylinder. On the other hand, fluctuated printing data 7 is sent into a fluctuated data printing unit 6, capable of printing data different in every one page, to print through a printing method, such as electronic photograph method, ink jet method or the like. A recording medium 8, supplied by a transfer means, passes through the fixed data printing unit 2 and the fluctuated data printing unit 6 to effect printing whereby a printed matter, high in printing character and including the fluctuated data, can be outputted.
