Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constituted, high-throughput printing device preventing the occurrence of pixel deviation in an image printed on photosensitive material, as for the printing device for modulating light emitted from a light source for every pixel in accordance with image information and then printing a color image on the photosensitive material.
SOLUTION: An exposure head 11 for modulating the light emitted from the light source 7 for every pixel in accordance with the image information so as to irradiate a photographic printing paper 12 with the light is constituted by arranging three LCSs(liquid crystal shutters) 11B, 11G and 11R so as to overlay on top of another in the optical axis direction. As for each of LCSs 11B, 11G and 11R, the shielding/transmitting control is executed only for the light of the blue component, green component and red component, respectively, and the color tone of each pixel of the image printed on the printing paper 12 is controlled by using a subtractive color process.
