Abstract:
To suppress irregularities in film thickness of a film formed on a substrate S for a display panel.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 comprises: plate-thickness measuring means 30 that measures a thickness of a flexographic plate 20; a flexographic printer 10 that prints an orientation film material PI held on the flexographic plate 20 on a substrate S; and a process management system 50 that performs management of a printing process. The flexographic printer 10 has: a plate cylinder 14 which forms a cylindrical body, presses the flexographic plate 20 detachably attached to a peripheral wall of the cylindrical body against the substrate S, and transcribes the orientation film material PI held on an outer surface of the flexographic plate 20 onto the substrate S by printing pressure; and a displacement mechanism 17 that displaces a relative arrangement of the flexographic plate 20 and the substrate S to change a pressing-in amount D at the time of pressing the flexographic plate 20 against the substrate S. The process management system 50 controls the displacement mechanism 17 on the basis of a plate thickness measured value TM of the flexographic plate 20 measured by the plate thickness measuring means 30, so that the pressing-in amount D is changed and the pressing pressure is adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
