Title:
PRINTING DEVICE WITH CURL CORRECTION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009203000
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a printing device with a curl correction mechanism capable of correcting the winding (curling) tendency of a label continuous body by a simple mechanism not using an electronic element such as a sensor.

The printing device has a rotary shaft 11 provided to a casing in the vicinity of a supplying part 3, an arm 12 oscillating around the rotary shaft, a first rotary roller 13 provided to one end of the arm and abutting on the periphery of the label continuous body 2 attached to the supplying part, an auxiliary roller 15 adjacently and rotatably provided to the first rotary roller, and a second rotary roller 14 provided to the other end of the arm. The label continuous body is inserted between the first rotary roller abutting on the periphery of the label continuous body and the auxiliary roller, and abutted on the outside of the second rotary roller. The position on which abutted by the first rotary roller moves as the diameter of the label continuous body is reduced by the paying out of the label continuous body, and the second rotary roller provided to the other end side with the rotary shaft interposed oscillates the label continuous body in the opposite direction to the curvature of a curl.
