To prevent an image from being deviated from its right position by a peculiar shake to a chain construction or any other causes, when an image is transferred to printing paper while the printing paper is conveyed by a chain delivery system.
A printing paper conveyance device 16 is provided in the transfer regions of transfer drums 54, 64, 74, 84 and has a pair of chains 36 pitched between a drive pulley 32 and a driven pulley 34 and a click member 38 fixed between the chains 36. The peripheral length of the chains 36 is equivalent to the integral multiple of the outer peripheral length of the transfer drums 54, 64, 74, 84 and the number of teeth or the number of pitches of the chains 36 is the integral multiple of the number of teeth of the drive pulley 32. In the transfer region, a chain running stabilizing mechanism 46 for inhibiting the shake of the chains 36 is provided.
