To enable to immediately and accurately detect when a cassette 1 is set in a cassette receiving unit 31 in a non-regular posture.
An upper surface open state cassette receiving unit 31 is provided at the inner part side of a body case 26 in a printing device 25, while a first presser 51 and a second pressor 52 are projected downward on both sides of the lower surface of a cover 27 having a rotating center at the back side of the body case 26. A spring pressing part 155 is provided at the tip end of a pressing member 154 having a rotating center at the side near the rotating center of the cover 27. A fin-state first part to be detected 13 and a fin-state part to be detected 15 are formed on both the sides of the inner part side of the cassette 1 to be set. When the cassette 1 is set in the cassette receiving unit 31 in the regular posture and the cover 27 is operated to be closed, the first presser 51 presses the first part to be detected 13, the second presser 52 presses the second part to be detected 15, and a spring pressing part 155 presses the wide width part of the cassette 1, and the cover 27 is tightly closed.
