Abstract:
To provide a printing device that can prevent buckling during conveyance of a medium.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 comprises: a printing head 33 that performs printing on a medium (a fan-fold paper 100); a suction platen (a platen 60), arranged opposing to the printing head 33, which suctions the medium; a nip roller (a sheet conveying roller 70), position at an upstream side in a conveying direction H in which the medium is conveyed from the platen 60, which holds the medium; and a medium pressing part (a pressing part 50), arranged between the printing head 33 and the sheet conveying roller 70 in the conveying direction H, which presses the medium with an elastic member 51. The pressing part 50 comprises a plane part 52a that presses the medium with a plane in the conveying direction H, and the plane part 52a overlaps with the platen 60 in the conveying direction H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
