Abstract:
To provide a printing device that properly determines an adjustment amount of a carriage depending on a distance from a print head to a platen.SOLUTION: A printing device derives a difference between a minimum distance between a print head and a platen and a predetermined interference threshold and a difference between the minimum distance between the print head and the platen and a predetermined ideal threshold, compares the differences to each other, and determines an adjustment amount of a carriage depending on the larger distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
