Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate an operation for correcting printing irregularities and the like by providing a function for correcting printing irregularities and a density in a printing device.
CONSTITUTION: An original 23 set in an original reader 14 is printed. An image reader 18 reads the density of the printed matter to judge whether and how printing irregularities are present and whether the degree of the density is appropriate. Based on this judgement, a control part 10 controls an piezoelectric actuator 9, whereby each ink metering edge 2 is automatically adjusted to be set at a proper gap between the ink metering edge 2 and an ink fountain roller 1.
