Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which a position of a tube sandwiched between a head and a conveyance roller is hardly displaced.SOLUTION: A printer includes a platen roller, an arm 52 and a head 60. The platen roller conveys the tube. The head 60 faces the platen roller. The arm 52 is connected to the head 60 and is rotatable around a support shaft 59. When the arm 52 is rotated, the head 60 is displaced from the external-contact position being in point-contact with the tube to the sandwiching position of sandwiching the tube between the platen roller and itself. The arm 52 is provided with an extension part 70. The extension part 70 includes a tube support part 72 and a tube relief groove 73. The tube support part 72 can support the tube from the lower side. The tube relief groove 73 is at the position of heading from the sandwiching position to the external-contact position with respect to the tube support part 72 and is recessed downward with respect to the tube support part 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
