Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make printing pressure uniform by reducing variations in pressing-in force of a printing nip.SOLUTION: A printing device performs printing onto a base material by a roll-to-roll method. The device comprises: an ink supply member for supplying ink for printing; a blanket cylinder 30 for transcribing, into the base material, part of ink supplied from the ink supply member and applied to a surface of the cylinder; a plate cylinder 40 for removing the part of the ink applied to the surface of the blanket cylinder 30; a pedestal 46 to which the blanket cylinder 30 is fixed; a slider 44 that supports the plate cylinder 40 and moves on the pedestal 46; a movement resistance reducing device 80 that reduces movement resistance of the slide 44 against the pedestal 46; and a plate cylinder nip device 42 that makes the plate cylinder 40 to apply nip pressure to the blanket cylinder 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
