This equipment is an ink sheet cassette 3 used for a thermal transfer printer or the like and the cassette 3 is composed of a core 5 whereon an ink sheet 1 to be supplied is wound and of a divided type cassette case 3 which supports the core 5 with play in the circumferential direction and covers the outer periphery. The ink sheet 1 is wound on the core 5 of a single axis, while the core 5 is supported with play in the circumferential direction in relation to the cassette case 3, and thereby a single-axis structure is realized. According to this constitution, the ink sheet 1 and the cassette case 3 can be formed of the least necessitated, in comparison with a usual two-axis support structure, materials to be used are cut down sharply and the amount of waste after printing is reduced very much, which makes a contribution to environmental problems.
