PURPOSE: To make clear the contents of a request from a terminal device and to eliminate an operator's mistake by inputting the printing format information for a processing result when the processing is requested by the terminal device from a host computer and displaying the same information on an information display device connected to the printer device when the processing result is outputted.

CONSTITUTION: When a terminal device 1 requests a processing from a host computer 4, the host computer 4 executes the processing based on the information requested for processing by the terminal device 1. Before the execution result is outputted to a printer device 5, the information of a printing package inputted from the terminal device 1 by a printing format inputting means 3 is displayed on an information display device 6 connected to the printer device 5. The operator sets a form to the printer device 5 based on the printing format information displayed on the information display device 6 and makes the executed processing result output to the printer device 5. Thus, an optimum information providing means corresponding to the processing result requested by the terminal can be obtained.
