To provide a printing history management device in which an occurrence of print failures can be traced and managed, and quality guarantee of printed matters and analysis or the like of the causes of the print failures are facilitated, and its system.
The printing history management device is constituted as follows. A signature to be carried out from a printing press 1 is conveyed to a stacker bundler 6. It is made as a large bundle signature by accumulating and bundling with the stacker bundler 6. A clocking means clocks the time from the start of printing to the end of loading of all the printed matters in a printing process to load a prescribed number of the large bundle signatures to a pallet with a palletizing robot 8. The integrated number of sheets of the printed matters to be carried out from the printing press 1, the number of the large bundle signatures to be carried out from the stacker bundler 6, the number of the large bundle signatures processed by the palletizing robot 8, and the defective integrated number of sheets of the printed matters to be discharged as the print failure are recorded together with the elapsed time by the clocking means in a recording means. The device is provided with a data collecting device 15 to record information of failure occurrence of the printed matters occurring in each process and operation information by the palletizing robot 8 from the printing press 1. And the device 15 records them to the recording means in time series. A printing history sheet is automatically outputted every end of a series of operations in a printing process.
