This printing machine is equipped with a storage device 23 for first print image data to be obtained through superposed printing of the same number of printing inks as or a fewe number of printing inks than the number of printing units 1-10. In addition, storage device 24, 25 are provided which store second print image data to be generated through printing the same number of printing inks as or a fewer number of printing inks than the difference between the number of the printing units 1-10 and the number of the printing inks used for printing the first printing image. Further, computers 20, 21, 22 are provided which trigger the substantially simultaneous process to print an image with printing plates for the first and the second print image.
