To provide a printing machine which can surely supply a printing sheet to be supplied between a backup roller and an intermediate transfer roller without clogging even if the sheet is thin, and which can prevent printing from becoming impossible.
The printing machine 1 comprises the intermediate transfer roller 4 transferred with an image; a backup roller 5 for transferring the image on the roller 4 to the printing sheet W by pressing the roller 4; and a paper receiving and delivering unit 30 provided at the roller 5. The unit 30 grasps the sheet W at a grasping position a1, releases the sheet at a grasping releasing position a3, and delivers the sheet to the delivering side B. Accordingly, even if the supplied sheet is thin, the sheet can be surely supplied between the backup roller and the transfer roller.
