Abstract:
To provide a printing material sheet conveying device being safe even when failure occurs in a traveling piece on one side.
This printing material sheet conveying device has a holding rung 4 such as a biting claw bridge or the like for holding a printing material sheet 1 and a traveling-wave motor 5 for driving the holding rung 4. The traveling wave motor 5 has a first traveling piece 6 and a second traveling piece 7 supporting the holding crossmember 4. The holding crossmember 4 is supported by an elastic member, which is a bending joint 10 having spring action, a rotary joint 11, and a joint composed of flexible bellows. Both traveling pieces 6, 7 are continuously maintained at mutually opposing positions.
