PURPOSE: To achieve printing of a microscopic pattern without generating a defect such as pinhole by making ink within a printing pattern of a plate overprinted on a body to be printed using one plate.
CONSTITUTION: Ink within a printing pattern 22 is printed on the surface of a body 32 to be printed through a transfer blanket 39 fixed in the perimeter of a transfer cylinder 38. In this case, even when any defect exists in a plate 20 or the transfer blanket 39, shifting a printing pattern 22 by 1 pitch portion downward to overprint (for example, a printing pattern 9 is overprinted on a printing pattern 10), shifting the printing pattern 22 by 1 pitch sideways to overprint (the printing pattern 9 is overprinted on a printing pattern 13 or other means can be employed. This enables printing of a microscopic pattern accurately preventing a defect such as pinhole.
