Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in the pattern resolution due to change in the wet state of a blanket when applying a film pattern of functional ink plural times.SOLUTION: A printing device which transfers an ink film pattern applied on a blanket on a blanket roll to a printing object includes: solvent removal means which removes a solvent absorbed by the blanket; and line measurement means which repeatedly-continuously measures the surface height on the circumferential line of the blanket. The solvent removal means includes a variable mechanism which can vary a circumferential removal amount of the solvent that may be removed per one rotation of the blanket roll. The variable mechanism controls the circumferential removal amount in accordance with an average value of the surface heights on the circumferential line in one rotation of the blanket roll measured by the line measurement means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
