PURPOSE: To enable use of only 2W5 kinds of impression cylinder even for high precision printing and reduction of printing cost by providing a speed adjustment means which sets the travel speed of a wed and the peripheral speed of a printing means to fixed variation factors, and a contact means which causes the web to come into contact with the printing means and has a specific curvature radius, thereby printing nay length of material without replacement of an impression cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A web and a printing means are caused to come into contact with each other by a contact means 30 with a curvature radius of 2mmW70mm for controlling tension so as not to allow accumulation of the web and causing the speed of the web and the printing means to vary by fixed variation factors. When the contact part of the contact means 30 is a rotating roll, the preferable diameter of the roll should be 10W140mm. When enlarged printing is performed using a printing plate as a reference, an amount of ink proportional to an enlargement ratio is applied. On the other hand, reduced printing is performed, the amount of ink proportional to a reduction ratio is applied. Adjustment of ink is made by adjusting a clearance between a scope-up roll 62 and a shift roll 64 or by changing a rotational ratio.
