Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of variation in printing quality by a difference in a kind of film and a developing state.
SOLUTION: The total number of a request for printing from each customer is counted. A control image corresponding to the total number is selected among many control images, and is printed on the unexposed part of negative film. The density of the control image is measured after developing. Ideal characteristic value data is added to each control image. Correction data is generated from the difference between the ideal characteristic value data and a measured value. Exposure in printing the control image and each image photographed by the customer is controlled by the correction data. The printed photograph of the control image is handed over to the customer together with the printed photograph of the image photographed by the customer.
