Abstract:
To solve the problems that in the case of giving process liquid for coagulating components contained in a white ink a printed matter, and printing by using the white ink, high concealability to the printed matter can be obtained by a white image formed by the white ink, but on the other hand, density unevenness occurs in the white image, and scratch resistance of the white image is insufficient.SOLUTION: A printing method includes steps of: a process liquid giving step of giving process liquid to a printed matter; and a printing step of printing by discharging a white ink by an inkjet system. The printing method is such that: the process liquid contains a trivalent metal salt, a nonionic urethane resin and water; and the white ink contains a white pigment, a resin and water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
