PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method of ultraviolet curable ink which can shorten a printing time of the ultraviolet curable ink including a curing time.SOLUTION: A printing method of ultraviolet curable ink, which uses a multipath type ink jet printer 10 provided with heads for jetting ultraviolet curable ink of a plurality of colors respectively, includes undercoat processes (S1-S2) in which the ultraviolet curable ink of a base color (white) is jetted from a first head on each path and the printed ultraviolet curable ink of the base color is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray by using a first ultraviolet light source incorporated in the ink jet printer 10; and top coat processes (S3-S4) in which the ultraviolet curable ink of a same color as the base color from the second head and ultraviolet curable ink of a color different from a base color from the third head are jetted on the printed ultraviolet curable ink of the base color, and the printed ultraviolet curable ink of the plurality of colors is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray by using the first ultraviolet light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
