PURPOSE: To prevent the life and plate wear of a flexographic plate from deterioration, by a method wherein, a printing ink containing a lubricant is supplied on the printing plate when a rotary printing is applied on a running web, and the printing is carried out while the running speed of the web is made to differ from the peripheral speed of a plate cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A printing ink containing a lubricant is supplied on a printing plate when a rotary printing is applied on a running web, and the printing is carried out while the running speed of the aforesaid web is made to differ from the peripheral speed of a plate cylinder. The lubricant in use is preferably organic or inorganic fine particles. In this manner, the life and plate wear of the printing plate can be prevented from deterioration also in a flexographic printing.
