Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reliably monitor a printing condition by respectively arranging stroboscopes on both sides of a video camera, crossing the optical axis of the camera at a single point with the optical axes of both stroboscopes, and respectively crossing the optical axes of the respective stroboscopes at specific angles with the optical axis of the camera.
CONSTITUTION: Stroboscopes 4 and 6 are installed on both sides of a video camera 2 by connecting them to each other by an arm, and the optical axis 5 of the stroboscope 4 is fixed at an angle of 45 degrees to the optical axis 3 of the camera 2, and the optical axis 7 of the stroboscope 6 is made adjustable at an angle of about 10 to 45 degrees to the optical axis 3. The optical axes 3, 5 and 7 are crossed with each other at a single point on a surface of a printed matter 1, and when the printed matter 1 is formed by performing a transparent coating on a colored printed layer, an angle between the optical axis 7 and the optical axis 3 is adjused so as to be not more than about 30 degrees, for example, about 20 degrees, and the stroboscopes 4 and 6 are made to emit light. Then, a coating film can be seen in an embossed condition, and a printing condition of the colored printed layer and a transparent film can be easily confirmed.
