Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate developing device for developing a printing plate by making the development processing solution act on a printing plate prepared to have property that solubility to the development processing solution is different in accordance with an image, which is constituted to have the degree of freedom in the arrangement of the device and prevent the development processing solution from being scattered.
SOLUTION: The printing plate (11) is coated with the development processing solution (5) the film thickness of which is controlled at specified time intervals, and the development processing solution on the printing plate (11) is replaced with the new development processing solution at the specified time intervals. Since an elastic roller 13-1 is used as a roller for carrying and applying the development processing solution to the printing plate, the film of the development processing solution having fixed thickness is formed on the roller 13-1 by a film thickness regulating member 13-2. Therefore, the development processing solution of a thin film is made to act on the printing plate, whereby development is performed. A developing container in which much development processing solution is stored need not be provided at the bottom part of a plate barrel, so that a printing machine having the plate barrel is compactly constituted. Besides, since the reservoir of the development processing solution is extremely small and the appropriate quantity of the development processing solution is applied, the development processing solution is prevented from being scattered.
