Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material capable of using various base materials each having a hydrophilic layer requiring no special developing treatment, suitable for CTR and showing an adaptable good printing capacity and having a tough coating layer having sufficient printing durability even in printing by using quality paper.
SOLUTION: In the printing plate material having a lower layer and a porous hydrophilic layer on a substrate in this order, the lower layer contains 30 mass% or more of metal oxide fine particles (A) with a particle size of 1-20 nm and the thickness of the lower layer is 0.1-5.0 μm and the lower layer has cracks with a gap of below 1 μm.
