PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image on a monomolecular film without mechanical contact when the monomolecular film formed on a surface of a base is selectively removed to form an image, and form the image and print with a high resolution.
SOLUTION: A required image is formed by forming the monomolecular film 2 having surface characteristics opposite to those of the surface 1a of the base 1 on the surface 1a of the base 1 in which required surface characteristics are imparted, incorporating at least a light absorption substance for developing a separating action for separating a bond of the film to the base by a light, and selectively removing by separating the monomolecular film from the surface of the base by emitting the light. Particularly, the light absorption substance is a light absorption heating substance for developing a separating action by a heat by heating via the light or a photocatalytic substance for developing the separating action by the photocatalytic reaction by activating by the light.
