PURPOSE: To perform a desired print on the surface of a golf ball by synchronously rotating a printing plate drum and a transfer drum by a driving mechanism, and pressing the printing plate of the printing drum to the transfer pad of the transfer drum.

CONSTITUTION: A printing plate drum 5 and a transfer drum 20 which can be contacted under pressure with a printing plate 6 of the drum 5 and transfer the ink of the plate 6 are so formed to be synchronously rotatable through a driving mechanism having a motor 1 and a reduction gear train 2. The outer periphery of the drum 20 has a suitable elasticity, and is composed of a transfer pad 21 which can be closely contacted with the surface of a golf ball G rotatably supported to a ball support. The surface of the ball is printed while the ball G is rotated by the pad 21. That is, the pad 21 of the drum 20 is effectively closely contacted with the surface of the ball G to print the surface of the ball G beautifully. Further, the whole periphery of the ball G can be easily printed. Two types of golf balls G can be effectively printed properly to both the balls G.
