Title:
PRINTING OF PRINT PAPER FOR DECORATIVE BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5775891
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent color and pattern of a base material from appearing to the printed surface when a printed paper is stuck to the base material, by applying a uniform coating of dark or black ink or paint on the rear side of a thin paper prior to printing of a pattern on the top surface of the thin paper.

CONSTITUTION: A uniform coating of ink or paint of a dark color, such as black or brown, is applied onto the entire surface of the side opposite to the printing side of a thin paper by gravure printing or roll printing, etc. And then, solid printing and pattern printing are performed in turn on the surface of this thin paper. The printed surface is provided with an overcoating appropriately. As for the resin of ink or paint to be used, a thermoplastic resin, such as rubber type, alkyd type and PVC, etc. may be used. This printed paper is able to be stuck not only to a plywood but also to a metallic plate, a plastic plate and a cement plate, etc. depending on selection of a bonding agent, and therefore, it is possible to provide a decorative board with the same tint given only by printing without being affected by kind and tint of the base material.
