PURPOSE: To correctly and automatically print 'NOSHIGAMI' (paper for covering gift).

CONSTITUTION: An application slip 4 written by a client is read by an OCR 5, and its file 6 is distributed to an invoice slip file 8 and a 'NOSHIGAMI' file 9 respectively by a distributing device 7, and the printing of an invoice slip and the 'NOSHIGAMI' is executed automatically and correctly on the basis of this data. The printing processing of the invoice slip 12 and the 'NOSHIGAMI' 16 is executed in parallel, and the outputs of the both are synchronized, and the convenience of gift dispatching work is improved. The information of a customer master file 3 is used for indication characters of the 'NOSHIGAMI', and its contents are made capable of being corrected by a correcting device 2 so that only the character of 'CHUGEN' (midyear gift) and 'SEIBO' (year-end gift), etc., is corrected and other indication characters of the 'NOSHIGAMI' are re-used. A file 13 to designate the layout of the indication characters of the 'NOSHIGAMI' is provided so that the layout optimum for every user is set.
